New Technology

Good evening I hope you all had a fab weekend. Well last week at preschool was another busy one of Transition visits and sports day practicing. The children are all working well together, following instructions, making choices and doing fab team work when practicing their sports day races. Piglets have been busy in their home corner, it's been a construction site. There has been lots of imagination when using the resources available to them. They have made some amazing shapes and structures with the soft large building blocks. They have again used great team work, talking through their ideas, using the tools and equipment to build and construct. Their creative activities have been making patterns and shapes with the play-dough and exploring the effect of balls in paint. Lambs have been doing lots of fine motor skill activities, cutting out shapes with scissors, making patterns with the pegs & boards and lots of pencil control activities. Letters & Sounds was Rhyming Words where the children had to find pictures where the words sounded the same.....cat-hat.... House-mouse etc. excellent turn taking skills !! I'm pleased to inform you that we now have a licence so we are able to use our white boards and computers to download educational activities for all the children. Also on behalf of all the staff and children I would like to say a huge THANK YOU for the very kind donation of a new laptop. It is an amazing tool for the children to learn form 😊😊 We look forward to seeing you all this Thursday 7th for our sports day. The fun starts at 11am don't forget your blanket & picnic..... Oh and your running shoes for our parents race !!!
