New term begins

Good morning I hope you all had a good weekend. The last couple of weeks have been settling in weeks, and the children now all seem happy and settled :) Piglets topic for this term is Autumn and some of the children have been bringing leaves, fir cones and conkers in from home. They have been using these items in their Autumn sensory tray and have been using magnifying glasses to explore the different objects. They have also used some of these resources in their painting activity to make different patterns and marks. At story and music time they have enjoyed listening to` Animal Boogie` and singing their favoutite song `Family Finger` along with` Dingle Dangle Scarecrow.` Lambs have been using Autumn resources to do creative activities.They have painted leaves and used conkers & cones to make patterns and marks using paint along with potatoes to do printing. They have been busy constructing the marble run, working together as a team. One of the children brought in a catterpillar to show their friends, it caused great excitment amongst the class!! Story & music time was `Going on a Bear Hunt` and `Stop & Freeze dance` which the children love!!!! As of this week we will start to use Greentrees hall again for large group physical activities.
