The Very Hungry Caterpillar - Piglets

Last week Piglets topic was The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.

Throughout the week they did lots of different activities. Story time, eating what the Caterpillar did, spotty cookies which made a caterpillar, loo roll holder printing & painting to design a caterpillar and green play dough to make caterpillars.

The children enjoyed listening to the story and through the week they sat in the book corner talking about the book with each other. They discussed what they did and didn’t like when tasting the food and there was a lot of talk about who made the biggest caterpillar out of play dough.

It was lovely to see the children so excited and involved in all the fun things they did.
